Bhubaneswar, Feb. 13 -- Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Friday underscored the strategic importance of the ambitious "Paradip Port 2.0" vision, stressing the need to expand capacity beyond 500 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to position the state as a leading maritime hub.

During her visit to Paradip Port, she reviewed operations and long-term expansion plans with the Chairman of Paradip Port Authority, P. L. Haranadh. Discussions focused on capacity augmentation, deepening of the Western Dock, and the development of a dedicated green hydrogen berth as part of the next phase of growth.
