Patna, April 10 -- An independent MP from Purnea, Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, today surrendered before two courts in connection with four cases and was granted bail in all of them.
Yadav appeared before the special court designated for hearing criminal cases against MPs and MLAs, presided over by Judge Praveen Kumar Malviya. He surrendered in three cases registered at Kotwali, Gandhi Maidan and Pirbahore police stations, and sought bail.
The court accepted his plea and granted him bail in all three cases.
Later, Yadav also surrendered before the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Aarti Upadhyay in connection with another case registered at Gandhi Maidan police station. The court also granted him bail in this case.
