Bhubaneswar, Aug. 23 -- The 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Cuttack today rejected the bail application of the accused persons arrested for masterminding the paper leak of Odisha Special Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) -2025 examination, observing that "these types of offences severely undermine public faith in government-conducted examinations and recruitment procedures creating widespread disillusionment and loss of institutional credibility".
It may be recalled here that the Crime Branch of Odisha police had earlier nabbed eight persons including vice president of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and school teachers for the paper leak of the exam scheduled to be held on July 20.
