Gangtok, Sept. 7 -- The Pang Lhabsol festival was celebrated with great devotion at the Royal Palace Compound and Tsuklakhang Monastery in Sikkim. The event was graced by Governor Om Prakash Mathur, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Denjong Prince Palden Namgyal Jigme Wangchuk, other cabinet members, and numerous devotees. Traditionally, Pang Lhabsol has been observed at Tsuklakhang since the era of the Chogyal, the sovereign kings of Sikkim.
