Islamabad, Feb. 1 -- Pakistani security forces and law enforcement agencies have "successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists," killing 92 terrorists in the country's southwestern Balochistan province on Saturday, the military said in a statement.
The terrorists conducted multiple terrorist activities across the province on Saturday, the statement said, adding that the attacks were aimed at "disrupting the lives of local populace and development of Balochistan."The military said 18 innocent civilians were killed in Gwadar and Kharan districts, and during clearance operations and intense standoffs, 15 soldiers also lost their lives.
