Islamabad, Dec. 31 -- Pakistan signed two major climate-focused financing agreements with the Asian Development Bank standing at nearly USD 300 million, aimed at strengthening its coastal protection and accelerating the shift towards climate-resilient, low-carbon agriculture, The News International reported on Dec 31.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance and Revenue, the agreements cover the US$180.5 million Sindh Coastal Resilience Sector Project and the $124 million Punjab Climate Resilient and Low Carbon Agriculture Mechanisation Project.
