Lahore, Jan. 12 -- Punjab's Information and Culture Minister Azma Bokhari on Monday rejected claims by PTI figures that unrelated or manipulated videos had been submitted to authorities for forensic examination, during their investigation into the May 9, 2023 riots, saying the evidence placed before the court was authentic and properly verified.
Her remarks came after a forensic report submitted to an anti-terrorism court in the Radio Pakistan attack case identified Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, as one of the suspects seen in video footage linked to the massive spree of vandalism and violence that followed the arrest of the PTI founder, and former PM Imran Khan, almost three years back.
