Colombo, March 1 -- Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan completed his ICC Men's T20 World Cup campaign by breaking Virat Kohli's record for the most runs in any single edition of the tournament.

Farhan scored his second century of the T20 World Cup when he compiled a brilliant hundred against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Saturday, with the right-hander finishing the tournament witha whopping 383 runs at an average of 76.60 to surpass the previous best of 319 runs from Kohliat the 2014 edition.

The Pakistan opener also became just the second player in the history of the T20 World Cup to have scored multiple centuries at the tournament, with both of Farhan's tons coming during this ongoing edition.
