Islamabad, Dec. 18 -- Pakistan has extended its airspace restrictions on Indian aircraft until January 23, 2026, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) announced on Wednesday. The new notice was issued a week before the previous restriction was due to expire on Dec 24.
In a statement, the PAA said: "Pakistan airspace will remain closed to Indian-registered aircraft, including all aircraft owned, operated or leased by Indian airlines, as well as Indian military flights."The updated NOTAM applies to both the Karachi (OPKR) and Lahore (OPLR) Flight Information Regions, which together constitute Pakistan's controlled airspace.
