Jammu, Nov. 26 -- Around 550 players and officials from 23 States and the union Territories from across the country on Wednesday attended the opening ceremony of the five-day long 42nd Junior (Boys and Girls) National Tennikoit Championship commenced here at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar.

The championship is being held under the auspices of the Tennikoit Federation of India and J&K Tennikoit Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.

The welcome address was presented by Rajeev Sharma, President Tennikoit Federation of India.
