Agartala, April 4 -- A total of 46,143 voters, including 23,763 women, are set to determine the fate of six candidates in Dharmanagar by-poll scheduled for April 9. To ensure smooth booth management, the Election Commission of India has established 55 polling stations across 42 different sites.

To enhance oversight, at least eight Police Sector officers and an equal number of Civil Sector officers have been appointed, each responsible for 7-8 polling booths. Additionally, 12 Civil Sector Officers and 11 Police Sector Officers, including reserves, will also be on duty, said District Magistrate Chandni Chandran.
