New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Amid ongoing controversy over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, Election Commission officials today said that 28 concrete measures have been taken over the last six months to ensure the accuracy of voter rolls and enhance election transparency.

These include a new system of dialogue with political parties, which has helped streamline the voter list cleanup process in Bihar.

Over the past six months, the Commission has conducted structured meetings with political parties at the sub-divisional, district, state, and national levels.
