Ranchi, Sept. 18 -- The state-level launch of the eighth National Nutrition Month was held today, inaugurated by Ajoy Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the Jharkhand Health Department here.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Kumar urged people to adopt nutritious Jharkhandi cuisine and share recipes on social media so that traditional food practices of the state can gain global recognition. He emphasised that more than 100 varieties of Jharkhandi dishes exist, many of which are preserved and promoted by rural women, and their wider adoption would create a global impact.
