Patna, Feb. 4 -- Opposition parties in Bihar have termed the state government's Budget 2026-27 as anti-people, directionless, and entirely based on manipulation of figures.

The Opposition leaders said that the budget turns its back on pressing issues such as unemployment, inflation, the deteriorating condition of education and healthcare, the crisis faced by farmers, and the rising violence against women.

RJD MLA Kumar Sarvjeet termed the budget a "capitalists' budget." Attacking the government, he said that the same narrative has been repeated for the last 20 years.
