Mumbai, Feb. 22 -- The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) on Sunday skipped the customary tea meeting hosted by the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the eve of the Maharashtra Legislature's budget session, citing a range of issues.

The opposition alliance said its decision was driven by several unresolved issues, including the delay in appointing Leaders of the Opposition, persistent questions about whether the plane crash involving former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was an accident or an act of sabotage, the continuing incidents of farmer suicides, the prevailing law and order situation in the state, and apprehensions surrounding the Indo-US trade deal.
