Lucknow, Feb. 20 -- The issue of increasing the honorarium of the outsourced workforce, and bringing it at par with the government employees, was raised in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Friday.

Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Ragini Sonkar posed the question to Labour and Employment Minister Anil Rajbhar during Question Hour.

Minister Rajbhar stated that the work period is pre-determined in the tender. Companies can change, but employees do not. He stated that the 2009 and 2016 orders in this regard remain in effect, and the current government has not taken any new decisions.
