New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The Opposition is seriously considering a collective move to initiate an impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar, Congress leader K C Venugopal said on Wednesday. This development comes after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee publicly urged opposition parties to unite on the issue, accusing the CEC of bias and misconduct during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal.
