Patna, Feb. 28 -- The opening day of the month long budget session of Bihar Legislature was adjourned for the day on Friday after the joint session addressed by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan and making obituary references to the departed souls who passed away during the intervening period.
Addressing the joint session, the Governor elaborated the achievements, works of the state government in detail and outlined the future strategies.
After the joint session, both Upper and Lower Houses met separately during which the names of presiding officers were announced in both of the houses and business advisory committees were constituted separately for the budget session.
