Bokaro, Nov. 22 -- A road accident near Malhantand Chowk in Jainamore claimed one life and left another person seriously injured on Saturday.
The incident occurred when a truck, reportedly driving on the wrong side from the Balidih toll plaza direction, rammed into a motorcycle and a scooter moving ahead of it.
According to police sources, the deceased has been identified as Kaleshwar Mahato, a resident of Petarwar. Eyewitnesses stated that the speeding truck suddenly veered into the lane of the two-wheelers, hitting them with great force. Kaleshwar Mahato died on the spot due to severe injuries.
