Lalitpur, Jan. 28 -- A tragic road accident in Lalitpur district on Tuesday claimed the life of one rural youth and left two others critically injured after a speeding car hit their motorcycle.
The car involved in the accident is registered in the name of the wife of Uttar Pradesh Minister of State Manohar Lal Panth and had "MLA" written on it.
The incident occurred near Barkheda Tiraha under Jakhaulaun police station limits, close to the village of Jiron. Three residents of Barkheda village-Anuj (20), son of Ratibhan; Shankar (45), son of Imrat; and Shivendra (18), son of Rajendra Yadav-were returning home on a motorcycle after attending a Sundarkand religious recitation.
