Mumbai, Feb. 3 -- In a tragic incident, a labourer engaged in cleaning a drain near a mall in the western suburbs died on Tuesday due to suffocation, while another sanitation worker who was affected, was treated at a hospital snd later discharged.
According to a fire brigade official, the labourers were identified as Salil Razak Gazi (27) and Sahil Noor Islam (30). They entered a narrow, deep drain as part of a cleaning operation, during which both reportedly began experiencing severe breathing difficulties.
