Koderma, Feb. 28 -- One person was killed and 10 others injured in a road accident near Urwan More under Chandwara police station limits in Koderma district on Saturday evening.
Police said an LPG tanker rammed into a passenger vehicle and several roadside vendors. The tanker was travelling from Hazaribagh towards Bihar via Koderma, while the passenger vehicle was heading from Jhumri Tilaiya towards Tilaiya Dam.
As the passenger vehicle reached Urwan More, the tanker reportedly veered into the opposite lane and lost control. It first collided with the vehicle and then ploughed into roadside shops set up on the footpath.
