Bhubaneswar, Jan. 3 -- The State-run Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has recorded a strong surge in mineral production during the current financial year 2025-26, with Iron Ore production of 24.88 Million Tonnes (MT) as on 31 December 2025, surpassing the Iron Ore output registered during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
OMC - the wholly-owned Corporation of the Govt. of Odisha - achieved overall mineral production of 29.03 MT (Iron Ore, Chrome Ore, Bauxite and others) as on 31 December 2025. The robust performance reinforces OMC's position as one of the leading mining companies in the country and sets the stage for a new production milestone in the FY 2025-26.
