Srinagar, Sept. 26 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today termed the arrest of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk as ''unfortunate'' and accused the central government of going back on promises made to the people of Ladakh, ''just as it had done in Jammu and Kashmir.''Omar said the action against Wangchuk was expected. "It was obvious they would do something like this," he told reporters in Srinagar.
The Chief Minister said the Centre had made commitments to the people of Ladakh like the people of J&K.
