Bhubaneswar, March 31 -- Odisha Vigilance officials have recovered a large amount of suspected illicit cash during coordinated search operations linked to Bidyut Ranjan Bhol, Deputy Manager of the Sambalpur Division of the Odisha Police Housing & Welfare Corporation (OPHWC).
According to Vigilance sources, acting on credible intelligence regarding alleged accumulation of bribe money, officials obtained search warrants from the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur. Bhol was intercepted near Sambalpur Railway Station, where Rs.5 lakh in suspected unaccounted cash was recovered from his possession.
