Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- In a move aimed at ensuring a more effective, transparent, and responsive administrative system, the Odisha government has introduced a comprehensive new transfer policy for officers of the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS). As per the policy, an OAS-A (Junior Branch) officer cannot remain posted in a single district for more than six consecutive years, and no officer will be allowed to serve in the same district for over ten years during their entire service period, including leave.
