Bhubaneswar, Feb. 19 -- The Odisha government has begun the process of issuing licences for adventure tourism activities in the scenic Puri-Konark Marine Drive area, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the state Assembly on Thursday.
Responding to a question by Om Prakash Mishra (BJP), the Chief Minister said that the Department of Tourism (DoT) has received six applications from Adventure Tour Operators (ATOs) seeking recognition and licences to operate in the coastal belt.
The applications are currently under scrutiny as per the provisions of the Odisha Adventure Tourism Guidelines 2025.
