Bhubaneswar, Feb. 11 -- Pre-Marriage Counselling Centres will be opened in Odisha, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Tuesday.
She stated that these centres would be established based on the advice of National Commission for Women Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, with the aim of reducing the rising divorce rate in the state.
Speaking at the 32nd Foundation Day of the Odisha State Women Commission held here, Parida emphasized the need to make women aware of their legal rights. She highlighted that today's women have demonstrated their strength and potential in various fields of society.
