Bhubaneswar, Jan. 25 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has sought the support of NITI Aayog for the development of the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradip Economic Region (BCPPER), envisaged as a major engine of economic growth and rapid urbanisation in the State.
Highlighting the transformative potential of the proposed economic region, the Chief Minister said BCPPER, comprising nearly 90 priority projects, could significantly reshape Odisha's urban and industrial landscape.
He requested NITI Aayog's guidance and support, including funding assistance through the Urban Challenge Fund.
