Bhubaneswar, Jan. 16 -- Odisha must ensure education in the mother tongue for more than one crore children to make them courageous, self-reliant, and equipped with international-level skills, union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Friday.
Speaking at the unveiling of the historical novel "Dayanadiru Niranjana", authored by Padma Bhushan Dr. Pratibha Ray, Pradhan said that Odisha is moving towards building a prosperous and developed state with a decade-long vision from 2026 to 2036.
He emphasized that providing education in the mother tongue is essential to empower the youth of Odisha, who carry the responsibility of shaping a developed future for the state.
