Puri, April 15 -- The Odisha government is considering introducing a slot allotment system for devotees at the revered Sri Jagannath Temple to ensure a smoother and hassle-free darshan experience, particularly during peak periods.
State Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said the proposal is under active consideration in view of the ever-increasing influx of devotees, especially during festivals, weekends, and public holidays. The move aims to streamline crowd management and improve the overall pilgrimage experience.
