Bhubaneswar, April 9 -- In a move aimed to win the trust of the local populace, the Odisha government on Thursday issued directions to Collectors of ten erstwhile Naxal-affected pockets to expedite the implementation of the 'Gramodaya' scheme to ensure the effective delivery of government schemes and basic amenities,The Revenue and Disaster Management Department directed the collectors of 10 erstwhile Maoist-affected districts-Bargarh, Boudh, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, and Rayagada-to expedite the implementation of the 'Gramodaya' programme.
