Bhubaneshwar, Nov. 25 -- The Odisha Government on Tuesday signed an agreement with the central public sector undertaking Oil India Limited for converting urban waste into green energy as part of State's broader clean-energy and circular-economy vision.

The agreement intended to fast-track coordination between Oil India and urban local bodies for the commissioning of Compressed Biogas plants in a time-bound manner. It will contribute meaningfully to the State's green-growth agenda, said officials.
