Bhubaneswar, Jan. 21 -- The Odisha Crime Branch Cyber Police have identified and arrested a cyber fraudster involved in a high-value "digital arrest" scam. The accused, Ramesh Aanjana (31), was apprehended from Dehu Road, Pune, Crime branch sources here said on Wednesday.
Several incriminating materials, including mobile phones and SIM cards, were seized from the possession of the accused.
He was produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Wadgaon, Pune. After obtaining a transit remand, the accused was brought to Odisha and will be produced in the court of JMFC, Dhenkanal.
