Bhubaneswar, Feb. 4 -- In a major crackdown on cybercrime, the Cyber Police of the Odisha Crime Branch have arrested two online fraudsters from Gujarat in connection with an investment scam involving over Rs.5.14 crore.

The accused allegedly duped a victim through a fake online trading platform by promising high returns on stock market investments.

The investigating team, led by Inspector Rajkishore Behera, identified and apprehended the accused after a detailed analysis of transaction trails and other digital evidence. Earlier, one accused had already been arrested from Assam in connection with the same case.
