Bhubaneswar, Jan. 21 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday urged farmers to diversify their income by engaging in fish farming, cattle rearing, and animal husbandry alongside traditional agriculture.
Speaking at the inauguration of the three-day Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Conclave, Odisha-2026, Majhi emphasized the state government's determination to make Odisha self-reliant in fish, meat, chicken, and eggs.
