Bhubaneswar, Feb. 20 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday presented a Rs.3,10,000 crore annual Budget for the financial year 2026-27 in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, outlining a comprehensive development agenda with strong emphasis on education, healthcare, agriculture, women's empowerment and infrastructure expansion.

Addressing the media after the presentation, the Chief Minister said the Budget is fully compliant with the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) norms.

The revenue surplus is estimated at 3 per cent of the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), while the fiscal deficit is projected at 3.5 per cent of GSDP.
