Bhubaneswar, May 11 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday appealed to the people of the state, especially the youth, to join the Civil Defence Organisation as volunteers with a spirit of nationalism.
"It is our collective duty to protect the lives of our fellow citizens," Majhi said, emphasising that service and security are the highest responsibilities of every individual.
He called upon the public, particularly the youth-who represent the hope, strength, and trust of the nation-to participate in the Civil Defence Organisation as committed volunteers.
