Bhubaneswar, Feb. 5 -- In a significant step towards improving public service delivery, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated 57 new Sub-Registrar Offices (SROs) across 56 tehsils in 17 districts on Thursday.

With this expansion, all 317 tehsils in the state now have functional Sub-Registrar Offices, including an additional office in Cuttack tehsil.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Majhi hailed the development as a major milestone, emphasizing that it will streamline land and property registration processes, enhance transparency, and eliminate the role of intermediaries.
