Bhubaneswar, July 4 -- The Mayurbhanj police have apprehended six suspects involved in the firing incident along National Highway-18 on June 22.
A 30-year-old man from the Kuliana police limits was critically injured in an alleged robbery attempt.
A police team, led by the SP of Mayurbhanj, conducted a thorough investigation using technical analysis of CCTV footage and forensic evidence. The probe was carried out under the guidance of the DGP of Odisha and the direct supervision of DIG Eastern Range Dr. Satyajit Nayak.
The investigation led to the recovery of a firearm and the identification of the culprits.
