Hyderabad, March 22 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary K Ramakrishna on Sunday called upon party cadres across the country to observe March 23, the martyrdom day of freedom fighter Sardar Bhagat Singh, as Anti-Imperialism Day.

In a video statement issued from Hyderabad, Ramakrishna said Bhagat Singh was a great patriot who fought against British imperialism and sacrificed his life for the nation. He urged people to draw inspiration from his ideals and unite in the fight against imperialism.
