Dharamshala, April 25 -- De-addiction centres in Dharamshala and Nurpur are playing a crucial role in helping individuals overcome substance abuse, with free consultation and medicines available to those admitted, according to OP Sharma, Secretary of the District Red Cross Society, Kangra.
Sharing details, Sharma said the District Drug De-addiction Centre has been functioning at Prayas Bhawan in Dharamshala since November 2025, while the Drug De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre in Nurpur has been operational since 2017. Both centres provide facilities for admitting individuals seeking treatment for addiction.
