Aizawl, Jan. 20 -- Urging a shift in perspective on the region's geography and future, Mizoram Health Minister Lalrinpuii has said that the North East should no longer be described as "landlocked" but recognised as "land-linked," citing major improvements in connectivity across the region.
She was addressing the International Conference "Libernum 2026: Northeast India at the Crossroad - Inclusion, Culture and a Sustainable Future," organised by Christ University, which is currently underway in Bengaluru. The conference has attracted a sizeable number of university professors, scholars and experts from different parts of India and abroad.
