Chandigarh, Feb. 26 -- The Returning Officer for the biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha from Haryana, Pankaj Agarwal, said on Thursday that the term of two Rajya Sabha members, Kiran Choudhry and Ramchandra Jangra, will conclude on April 9, 2026.
To fill the vacancies arising due to the completion of their tenure, the schedule for the biennial elections has been officially notified, said an official statement.
As per the notification, nomination papers for both seats may be filed until March 5, 2026. The scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on March 6, while candidates may withdraw their candidature until March 9.
