New Delhi, Feb. 8 -- The much-awaited 59th edition of The Statesman Vintage and Classic Car Rally was flagged off on Sunday by Delhi Lieutenant Governor V. K. Saxena, marking yet another milestone in one of India's oldest and most prestigious motoring events.
The rally commenced from The Statesman House on Barakhamba Road, transforming the heart of the capital into a moving museum of automotive heritage.
In the Vintage Section (cars manufactured till 1939), the coveted Statesman Challenge, Best Overall Performance (Vintage Trophy), was awarded to Gidwaney for his meticulously maintained 1935 Bentley.
