Agartala, Feb. 3 -- The National Service Scheme (NSS) contingent from the Northeast achieved a milestone at the Republic Day Parade Camp in New Delhi, following a month-long period of intense preparation, officials announced on Tuesday.
The 19-member team, along with 18 elite volunteers, proudly showcased the Northeast's rich culture and disciplined spirit on the national stage at Kartavya Path. Leading the contingent was Bhaskar Ghosh, a State Award-winning NSS Programme Officer and postgraduate teacher from Tripura, marking a landmark moment of leadership representation for the state.
