Bengaluru, March 30 -- Against the backdrop of concerns over LPG availability and pricing, Karnataka's Food and Civil Supplies Minister KH Muniyappa has asserted that there is no shortage of domestic or auto LPG in the state, while issuing a strict warning to private distributors against overcharging consumers.

Positioning the state's supply chain as stable and actively managed, the minister said the government has stepped up commercial LPG distribution significantly, scaling daily supply to 29,463 cylinders and raising the allocation limit to 68 per cent.
