Tirumala, April 26 -- : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Sunday clarified that there is 'no fuel shortage in Tirumala', assuring devotees not to panic.
In a statement, TTD said petrol stocks were temporarily exhausted at HP and IOCL outlets on Sunday afternoon, leading to "No Stock" boards being displayed at the bunks.
However, fuel supply was restored at the HP petrol bunk by evening after the arrival of a tanker, while another tanker is expected to reach the IOCL outlet by Monday morning.
TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary has directed fuel dealers to take advance precautionary measures to ensure uninterrupted supply and avoid such situations in future.
