Pankaj JainNew Delhi, March 29 -- Amid the evolving geopolitical situation in West Asia and the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the Centre on Sunday said it is maintaining close oversight and implementing comprehensive measures to ensure stability in energy supplies, safeguard maritime operations, and support Indian nationals in the region.

The government emphasised that uninterrupted availability of fuel and essential energy resources remains a top priority, while urging citizens to avoid panic buying and rely on official information.
