Gangarampur (West Bengal), April 14 -- union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not allow Aam Janata Unnayan Party founder Humayun Kabir to construct a Babri Masjid in Murshidabad district's Beldanga once it forms the government in West BengalAddressing a public rally here in North Bengal's South Dinajpur district, Shah alleged that Kabir was an "agent" of Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee and claimed that both Kabir and the proposed mosque had her full backing and support.
"Humayun Kabir is an agent of Mamata Banerjee. Don't fall for their theatrics," Shah said.
Shah also said that the BJP would solve the "Gorkha-issue" in the Darjeeling hills without dividing the state in any way.
